Highlighted Features

  • The ratchet’s design makes it easier to use compared to others.
  • The hard stamped sockets reduce sorting time.
  • The set is covered by a lifetime warranty.
  • The sockets have knurled lines (metric) and double lines (SAE).
  • The sockets are made of nickel chrome alloy steel for durability.

Designed for Superior Performance

The Gearwrench impact socket set has a low profile so it is more efficient and easier to use. Anyone who has used a ratchet knows how important a low profile design is, so this is a crucial feature.

The profiles on some ratchets are so high they’re difficult to use, so this proprietary design definitely helps.

Sockets and ratchets may have the same function but the way they’ve been put together makes a huge difference. In this case, the sockets and ratchets are both high quality.

More Leverage for the Ratchets

This Gearwrench 1/4 socket set also comes with longer than usual ratchets. Again this might not seem like much, but this extra length gives you more leverage.

The ratchets also have a flush mounted reverse lever for easier access. With all these features it is easy to see why a lot of DIY enthusiasts prefer this.

Sockets and Ratchets are Fully Polished

This Gearwrench 1/2 socket set has been designed so that each piece is fully polished. This doesn’t just make each piece aesthetically pleasing, but it adds to the durability and longevity.

Anyone who works with sockets and ratchets know how important the finish is, and that’s why Gearwrench made sure these are superior to others. The polish also makes each piece stand out and pleasing to the eye.

Serration Depth

A close look at the Gearwrench Master socket set reveals they have serration depth. This depth is equivalent to the fastener so it’s easier to use.

The sockets also have identification marks so it’s easy to sort them out. Thanks to the large stamps, sorting out won’t be an issue.

A Well-Made Case

The Gearwrench 3/8 socket set includes a well-designed carry case. The case has several compartments where the sockets and ratchets are stored.

The socket case is something we all take for granted, but if it’s not good quality that presents all kinds of problems. Thanks to a well-made case the items won’t move around inside.

The importance of a quality case cannot be underestimated. With so many sockets, it is crucial that you have a container that can hold them all, and that is what you get here.

Nowadays sorting the sockets as I work with this rotary tool is much faster and accurate. This is due to the hard stamp imposed on the sockets reducing the sorting time. In addition to that, the sockets have knurled lines and double lines that make it easier to identify them from other sockets.
